Realising that human imagination and creativity can be egocentric and distructive to ourselfs and our environment, Alex wanted to develop a new relationship with nature allowing it to teach and lead me. Respect and sensitivity to fundamental forces and conditions became my more passive approach.

Hydrophillic Hydrophobic - Natural Events
The ideas in these works developed over time allowing the materials to develop their own structures. Extra special attention and sensitivity to the conditions and environment that they develop in. Fluid dynamic, gravity and evaporations are natural forces that llow complex patterns to grow. They are the same at sub atomic and cosmic scale, allowing rather than making the phenomenon to happen sets up a different balance between myself and nature' - Alex Brown, 2018.
